What with all this talk of chocolate…

Easter.  Passover.  Valentine’s Day.  Mother’s Day.  Oh yeah, April Fool’s Day, May Day… Didn’t ya’ll get those May Day baskets filled with wild flowers and chocolates?  We did when I was a kid.

Oh, not to forget my birthday and our anniversary in mid-April.  But that’s not why I’m thinking of chocolate.  I don’t even know why I’m thinking of chocolate.  Hmmm.  I guess it’s because chocolate protects against weird energy vibes while providing peace, harmony and increased endorphin levels.

I’m immersed in revisions and edits and imagining cover designs for the Daughters of Persephone series.  I want what I want and it’s not easy to find exactly what I want.  On the other hand, I get to be the decider.  And that, my friends, is very cool.

I know this sounds totally weird, but I want to see the movie, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.  Nice segue, Julia…

That’s what I get for staying up late revising.  No beer and no TV make Homer something…something…

Guess what I’m eating. Go on, guess…

Chocolate is good anytime of the year. :)

  4. Lorca Damon says:

I’m not a huge fan of chocolate (don’t judge me!…I’m a salty food fanatic instead), but when I really think of wanting chocolate I want that cayenne pepper kind. It’s a lot like S&M…pleasure through pain or something like that!

OMG! Carl is so excited to see that movie….it’s about fly-fishing! I watched the trailer and I think it looks really cute. We’re totally going to see it.

I don’t want to talk about chocolate. Food is my enemy. Ugh. Although I think I’m finally getting better. :)

There’s never a wrong time to want chocolate! Is there?

  7. Katalina Leon says:

My husband loves fly fishing so he would line up for the movie as well.
Your edits and revisions are well worth your time, do it with passion and patience. I’m so glad these fine books are yours again and will now get the debut they deserve.
    XXOO Kat

  8. My husband would love to learn fly fishing, Kat. And thank you!

  9. No, Casey, there is never a wrong time for chocolate. :)

  10. It does look cute, Penny! Sorry food is your enemy, but it’s temporary!

  11. Hi Lorca, me chocolate…no salt. I just don’t like salt. But I do love hot-hot chocolate!

  12. Amber, you are absolutely right!

I am definitely a chocaholic but trying to recover. My favourite snack is chocolate covered pretzels. You get the delicious salty bite of the pretzel covered in mouth watering dairy milk chocolate. Our supermarket sells them in the bulk bins. So convenient but so hard to walk past. Mmmm.

  14. Hi Jianna! My husband is with you. He loves those – sweet milk chocolate and salty snack! So addictive!
