Home again, home again…

We had a great time.

I learned some new words like ramfeezled and dandypratt.  Oh, and angakok and putti.  This is what vacations are for – playing games and hanging out with the people you love.

And in that vein, the enormity of the tragedy in Connecticut is just now sinking in.  I’m so sorry.

I’d planned to post some photos of our getaway, but I think I’ll wait until tomorrow.  Julia

I’m glad you had a good time. Events such as those in Connecticut SHOULD touch us. Yes, they should. But life has also taught me that happy times counter the sad. Blessings on us all.

Glad you made it safe and sound.

Many of us have been punched in the gut by the tragedy, are still gasping, trying to catch our breath.

  5. Those are deliciously fresh words after a dreadful event, and you were with those you love, and you could hug them and hold tight. Sounds like you had an early, wonderful Christmas present.

I attended a group mediation and prayer this morning with adults and children and a couple young school teachers in training. There were a lot of tears for the CT victims and loved ones left behind.
