A Quick Note.

I’m finished with edits. Done with my blurb. Working on my cover. Taking my own photographs this time and working with my own personal cover artist. He created the cover for One Foot In Heaven, Journey of a Hospice Nurse. Love that cover, by the way.

One of my short stories – non-romance – has been accepted into an anthology. The anthology should be released this summer. Mum’s the word for the time being. This is as much information as I can divulge. I’m happy about it though.

The knee sorta sucks. Slow healing. Some backsliding involved. Forced to take it easy– again. Sigh… and double sigh.

Inactivity and I are a contradiction in terms.

Now, must put my birdies to bed and maybe I’ll do a little reading. Got some good books uploaded to my Kindle. Nonfic here I come!

Oh, here’s a freebie- The Soul Series Special Edition  - all three books, Incorporeal, In the Flesh and Stay plus bonus material. Yum!

  1. Steph Berget says:

Congrats on all the writing news and take care of your knee.

  2. Sorry you’re having a tough time with healing – you sound fit to be tied.

Must be hard, with Jake for a companion just waiting to go, and all those nice hiking paths, but they will come again.

Healing is a tricky thing – which is why I’m fighting to avoid any surgery. Seems ludicrous when I’m in no pain – just have a couple GM muscles which don’t fire. We tried external stim today – maybe.

Not being able to just go for a walk drives me nuts, too – at least I can roll around the neighborhood on my bike, and sit cross-legged on the grass to weed.

At least get outside. It’s Spring!

Hope the two of you are getting better every day, even if it IS slow.

  3. I am semi-fit to be tied, Alicia. Thanks. I know how frustrated your limitations are for you. I’m trying not to be a whiny baby! I do get outside. Just can’t walk much.

  4. Tom Stronach says:

I know how hard it is for me to be ill, sick, hurt, and in-active. I can only imagine how hard it is for you.

Take care of you. I need you. You inspire me to do more. You inspire me to do better.

  7. Amber Skyze says:
