Welcome! Happy Spring! Spring and Fall are two of my four favorite seasons!
I’ve been on a tear all week – getting ready to head up to Oregon for my dad’ big birthday. I spent Wednesday making a batch of lemon curd, a dozen chocolate croissants and a chocolate sheet cake.
Yeah, I have a big freezer! Already finished the brisket and the short ribs.
Since you’re here, check out this week’s posts. My ode to Indie Writers is just below. Feel free to join the discussion.
I’ll try to post over the next few days, but I may be hit or miss because I’m heading up to Oregon.
Love you all so much! Julia
Yesterday was sunny and warm. Today it rained – snowed on the mountain tops.
Jake and I hiked in the rain. We were the only two out aside from a herd of deer, squirrels, and one lonely coyote.
Ferns on the Hillside.
Plum Tree Growing Out of the Volcanic Rock.
Tomorrow – the post I originally had planned for today!
Yeah, that’s California for you!
So before I’m off to 72 hours of the crazy insane day job, here’s a pic to enjoy. April is a big month for me – my birthday, my anniversary, my gramma’s birthday, my cousin’s birthday, Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, Catherine de Medici’s birthday…just past spring’s birthday…love it!
Take a look at yesterday’s post for contest details – I’d love to read your blurbs and give you prizes! Have a wonderful weekend! Julia
