I have a comic book collection and I like nothing more than perusing the stacks of old comics in a used comic book store - and when the guys in The Big Bang Theory are discussing the various attributes of super heroes, I know exactly what they are talking about! Oooh…Green Lantern…he’s my fave! Weakened by the color yellow - LOL!
Battlestar Galactica and Firefly were the two best television science fiction series…ever! But I still love the original Star Trek, especially Mr. Spock. He was so Vulcan-y hot and smoldering just beneath his controlled surface.
Science fiction and fantasy may be the most compelling of all literary genres.
Video games and RPGs aren’t so bad - In my mind, they’re good things. Especially Tetris and Dr. Mario! RPGs kept my son busy and outdoors!
For once in my life, I have a TV schedule - there are actually shows I want to watch besides True Blood - which I’ve managed to avoid this entire disappointing season. Okay now, let’s see…Monday - the new Hawaii Five-O - because Grace Park of Battlestar Galactica and Alex O’Laughlin, the vampire of Moonlight, are featured players. Tuesday - NCIS - I have such a girl crush on Abby Sciuto. I adore her! Wednesday I’m off the hook. Thursday - The Big Bang Theory…yay! Steph over at Fangs wands and fairy dust claims that somebody is producing a television version of George R.R. Martin’s - A Game of Thrones - OMG! If done right, this could be almost as amazing as Lord of the Rings.
Here’s the plan - there’s this new pho place in town. I’ll get Vietnamese takeout and watch The Big Bang Theory. Sound good?
