Some Days…are just like that…
Working on things. Working out things.
In the meantime, Happy Hanukah/Hanukkah/Chanukah/Chrismukah to all my friends and family. The first night was last night. I would have made latkes (potato pancakes) but the oil would have been too much for me in my current state of hair-tearing.
Hmmm…what’s new? My puppy is now six months old and 58 pounds. He goes in to the vet’s to be neutered on Monday. He’s recently taken an interest in females, as in, followed a bitch in heat for a quarter mile yesterday at the park before he realized I was waaaaaaay behind him and before the idiots who thought it was a grand idea to take their female lab to an off-leash dog park decided to stop and wait for me to catch up so I could leash my puppy. I’ve posted about this before. Why would you take your dog in heat to an off leash dog park? Not everyone has their dog neutered, and even if they do, the bitch (no insult to the dog intended) drives all the male dogs crazy. This does not compute.
So here’s some bright news on a gloomy day - Some of you already know and many of you followed my story of the harrowing canoe trip into the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. My contemporary romance, Pushing Her Boundaries, based on said trip, has been contracted by Siren for release in April, 2011. The print book will come out the following September. I had maybe the most fun writing this story I’ve ever had writing anything. I think you’ll like it. You all will be the first to see a cover when I get one.
In the meantime, check my December Newsletter for gifts! If you haven’t signed up for it, look over on the sidebar.
Talk to you soon!
