Dutch artist, Hieronymous Bosch, 1450-1516, painted some very disturbing scenes. This is the hell panel from his triptych, The Garden of Earthly Delights.
Thought I’d introduce you to an amazing painter because I am in the midst of details and I don’t have time to do much blogging. As soon as I have a free minute, I’ll post a blurb for Incorporeal. I’m still stoked about the cover!
Regarding the contest prize and giveaways - my shipping place was broken into and I only use them. They’ll reopen tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Over at Night Writers on Tuesday, probably talking about the late season rains.

Julia! I LOVE Bosch…in fact, I wrote a paper about this painting when I was in middle school….I was obsessed with how bizarre his world was. His images are very disturbing, and so far from the norm in terms of typical paintings depicting these religious themes.
Hope you are having a good day!
I’d heard this painting was an alter piece for a very early group of free thinkers and every item in the painting was soaked in symbolism… I would love to know more about it because it is so interesting.
XXOO Kat
At first glance it disturbs me but like most art it still intrigues me. I’d like to know more about it.
Ciara - it’s an amazing piece - three sections. As Kat says, very symbolic and mysterious.
Yes, Kat, I would love to see it! It reminds me of Dante’s Inferno.
Penelope - isn’t his world bizarre? I’m so impressed that your wrote a paper on him in middle school! You’re such an interesting person - you and Kat are both artists!
Wow that is weirdly interesting…
Very, Savannah!
