Wouldn’t mind some drugs. I am so tired - been up since 2:30 a.m. Cali time. Two flights into a bloody headwind that added an hour to the first leg.
Had to run to catch the second flight, and I’m really not allowed to run because of the knee repair, but I arrived in the nick of time.
The good - got to play nurse on both flights - always fun and gets me complimentary miles.
The other good - I have so many things to tell you about my amazing trip to Baltimore and D.C. I love the East Coast.
The one bad - I didn’t have time to even call my author buds Anny Cook and Sharon Buchbinder who live out that way. Anny and I managed to get together a couple years ago. But this trip was intense. We never stopped, not once, to catch our breaths.
Okay…night. I’m done. Except for this: Remember the TBR Thanksgiving Giveaway!

You are so freaking adorable…with a disproportionately large head. I hope there aren’t any poop stories from your trip out east!
Dear Barbara - yes, apparently I do have a disproportionately big head! Ask my husband! No, in Washington D.C. the homeless people have too much class to throw poop.
Adorable pic, Julia!
And I totally sympathize! I’m off tomorrow on an 11 hour drive (which with traffic will probably be closer to 13, 14 YEARS, but still) for the holiday, myself, and I’m exhausted from all the prep even before I drive.
Glad to hear you’re home safe, though. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
So adorable! Hope you’re resting.
Welcome back! I’m glad you had a great time!
I’ll bet this was a great trip with a few really good food adventures in Baltimore.

Oh yeah, Tracy - these long travel days! Whew! Safe drive an happy Thanksgiving!
I had no idea you were going there. Thought she was heading up to Machias. Snowing here like an SOB. What did you have to play nurse to?
