I worry about this series more than anything I’ve written. Science Fiction Romance is a tough write - people either love the scifi and hate the romance, or hate the scifi and want more romance. It’s hard to find a happy medium. I will say this - the story grew stronger as it progressed. Issa, the Thousand Year Empress of book three, Reborn, surprised the seven hells out of me!
