Can’t resist : my year-end hotties.

Every year People Magazine puts out their sexiest man of the year issue. I agree with many of their choices, but these are mine. You’ll probably notice a pattern. :)

My number one pick, and in all seriousness, this man makes me weak in the knees: Gerard Butler.

Number two: Daniel Craig. Must be that pouty lower lip.

Number three, in all his Aussie glory, Hugh Jackman:

Number four - not always a hero, but always a hottie, Sean Bean.

Number five, but not the least among them, Viggo Mortensen.

Runners up - Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, LL Cool J, and Mark Wahlberg.

  1. This is a damn fine list and I agree with it whole heartedly! lol
Why oh why can’t we ever be treated to Sean Bean playing a good-hearted, easy to love guy? Does he have a contract stipulating that he must be offered the role of the corrupt heavy? lol
    XXOO Kat
PS Can I add Jon Hamm to this list? I love a big Hamm.

Very hot list. I’m in agreement with you. :)

  3. Penelope says:

Nice! Viggo just might be my favorite on your hottie list…yum! :)

  4. Julie L says:

OMG - I am so there with you and your pics! I’d choose the same, but for Daniel Craig - though his eyes are to die for. Gerry is at the top of my list (surprise!), I actually prefer him straight up and scruffy with a twist!

  5. sandracox says:

A woman after my own heart. Sean has got to be the sexiest bad boy around.

  6. Stephanie says:

Viggo as Aragorn = hot otherwise too sensitive new age guy for me. Hubs ran into him at BOS once.
Hugh - yes - in any and all incarnations.

If they don’t have to currently be among the living: Marcello Mastriani and Cary Grant
    Liam Neeson, also hot.
Johnny Depp, but too small physically - I think I could beat him up.

For the college boy look: Ryan Reynolds - coming off the divorce from Scarlett and Peoples sexiest man alive this year.

Tried but true: Mark Hamill still hot.

But why go out for steak when I have filet mignon at home?

  7. SusiSunshine says:

    I agree 100%…

I have to enjoy this some more.
    *swoons*

  8. Ciara Knight says:

HOT, HOT, HOT. Funny, I agree. They all look alike. Never thought of them as looking alike until I saw all their pictures together. :)

  9. Drool all the way….I love me some Gerard…and all the other hontness….Grrr baby

  10. Evie Balos says:

Hey Julia, looks like we have similar tastes in men! Butler, Craig and Viggo especially. They all give me jelly knees, lol.

Can I throw in a few more of my favs? Jensen Ackles (Dean on Supernatural), and Simon Baker (Patrick on The Mentalist). Simon’s got the sexiest laugh lines ever.

  11. Oh, Gawd, you all, add whoever you want! My puppy chewed through the coaxial cable last night and I just got back from Sacramento - had to get a new cable before I ran off to do some work/meetings/stuff. Ah…back to the future!
Yeah, Steph - I think one of the reasons my hubby is so sexy is he has that look - I am so attracted to guys with this look - strong jaw!
Oh, and Viggo? You have to see him in A History of Violence and Eastern Promises. OMG!

  12. Evie Balos says:

Is that the movie where he’s butt naked in one scene? It’s a movie whose name I can’t recall…he plays an undercover Russian agent I believe-dark movie…I have even more respect for him as an actor after seeing that.

    Evie

  13. Evie - Eastern Promises - the knife fight in the steam room.

  14. Evie Balos says:

That must be the one, thanks! It takes (forgive the pun) balls for a male actor to do a scene like that. ;-)

  15. Regan Taylor says:

Ahem — you forgot one particularly hot hottie — Alex O’Laughlin — in his 5-0 Bathing suit!

  16. Regan - you’re so right! He is one of my hotties!
