The Walking Dead - SAY IT AIN’T SO!

The producer has fired the entire writing staff! It’s a knife in my heart.

Why oh why, when a show starts out gangbusters, do the people in charge make idiotic decisions?

I’ve had to give up on so many shows because they go to shit after a season or two. Weeds (well, that was after three seasons), True Blood - which I found unwatchable this last season and barely watchable Season Two. BSG is over. Firefly was canceled. TV guys…can’t you get it right for once?

Wow, the entire writing staff? Oh, don’t get me started on Firefly. I’m still BEYOND mad about that being canceled. :)

  2. I know! Firefly was the best! I’m loving The Walking Dead. I can’t imagine how it’s going to work without a writing staff.

  3. I don’t think that was too smart….Are they trying to get the show canceled?

    OMG BSG and Firefly…Miss them…

  4. Katalina Leon says:

Maybe they’ll get real zombies to write the scripts? That would be good.
    XXOO Kat

  5. Yes, tata BSG - oh my poor broken heart! So long, Firefly - Nathan, come back! I’m totally enjoying The Walking Dead, despite my squeamishness. I hope it isn’t ruined.

    Kat - Now there’s a brilliant idea!

  6. Stephanie says:

Where am I? J, you aren’t keeping me informed! Walking Dead?

  7. Steph, I hope you’ve been watching! I’ve been talking about it for a couple weeks.

    Yikes, that’s one scary picture.

  9. Charlie says:

The article makes it sound like the producer didn’t actually let the writers do anything in the first season anyway. Maybe it won’t be complete catastrophe. Sadder news - they aren’t going to start airing season two until October. So after nine months of nothing we are still supposed to care about these characters? Arg!

  10. It’s so frustrating. I could not care less about True Blood anymore. The Walking Dead really is riveting and now I’ll have to wait and see…it’s sort of like waiting for George R.R. Martin to get the next book out!
