We went here today:
What an amazing place! This may be the first time in my entire life that I’ve actually looked at, and read about, every single exhibit in an art museum. These exhibits are, by far, the most creative pieces of art I’ve ever seen - by virtual unknowns or at least unknowns to me. All I can say is…wow! I felt like I was inside the belly of M.C. Escher or Salvador Dali. You all have got to go!
Check out this guy….Eugene Von Bruenchenhein. He blew me away with his prescient paintings, especially his Space Age series. Think photos you’ve seen from the Hubble Telescope, except he painted this series in 1959.

You’re right, what an amazing picture.
I like how it is filled with fine, almost structural lines and very loose plumes of color so it is like scientific exploration meeting the imagination of what could be out there.
Steph - you and Katalina are both artists. I knew you would find him interesting. His collection is divided among several museums at the moment - so worth seeing. I was spellbound!
Amber - his stuff is amazing.
So glad you are having fun on your trip. There is nothing more inspiring than going to a great museum! I love that painting…there is so much movement in it, it looks alive! :^)
Amazing.
What a great place. I love art. There was a Salvador Dali museum in my home town. I loved seeing his work. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
