Friedensreich Hundertwasser designed one structure in North America, and this is it - I was here with my daughter yesterday, Quixote Winery. All I can say is…amazing.
Hundertwasser didn’t believe in straight lines, right angles or flat walkways. Of course, as a functioning winery, some floors had to be flat, but most areas undulate like living water. Gorgeous! Here are more pics. He incorporated his trademark brightly colored columns and an onion dome in every structure.

How cool! Love the pics. Must have been fun seeing in person.
Ohhh I love that one. Did you know that we have one of his buildings here in Magdeburg? Look here: http://www.gruene-zitadelle.de/englisch/
Wonderful house and even more impressive in real life.
Oh, Susi - he was so brilliant! How lucky to live in a place where he designed something! Both of us! What an amazing building!
Yeah, Amber, it was fun. The first pic is the winery, the remaining photos are some of his works in Europe.
Wow those places look so funky…So much color…
