I can’t believe I actually like these photos taken at the recent book signing - by a complete stranger. I’m floored. I usually look awful in photos. You know, like the relative you want to edit out of the picture. Seriously. I’m so excited I’m posting them…plus I’m waiting for my husband and father to complete their movie lists. That’s me in the maroon sweater.
From left to right - Super hot author Dee Brice, super sweet author Mary Martinez, super unique author Regan Taylor, and moi. Check out the necklace, Secret Santa!
Thanks, Mary, for sending the photos.
Oh, I forgot one movie fave of mine - The Magnificent Seven, the American version of The Seven Samurai directed by Akira Kurosawa. I had a crush on bald Yul Brenner for years.
As soon as I have a link, author Luxie Ryder will be posting her top 25 movie picks too!

Great pictures.
Lovely
Hey, gorgeous! I wish I could have been there. We can do a book-signing together in the spring!
Santa is such a nice guy…hee hee!
You’re so lovely and photogenic. I just do not allow pictures of me unless booze is involved.
Yummm… Yul Brenner, as a kid I was disturbed and excited by him in West World. Love his eyes, he’s so intense even in silver contact lens! lol

PS. You look lovely! You’re a natural beauty.
You’re so pretty! And young-looking. You look a lot like my ex sister-in-law, except I like you at least a million times more.
Barbara - Like your ex sister-in-law, huh? Hmmmm. I’m not sure how I feel about reminding you of someone you like a million times less than me!
Thank you.
Oh yeah, Kat. Yul Brenner in his day…bald hottie! And thank you. I can’t wear make-up. Make-up makes me look like a clown and I hate clowns.
Oh Steph - booze was involved! We were at a winery, otherwise I would not have allowed anyone to take my photo!
Definitely Penny! You curly me straight! Sounds fun!
Thanks, Stacey.
Thanks, Amber!
Great pictures. looks like it was a fun signing!
It was really nice to spend time with the other authors, Charlie.
You look great, Julia, and I’ve been curious to see a picture of you for a while. Probably like you, I hate photographs being taken of me. Usually it’s because the snapster fails to capture anything about “who or how I am” and their technique is more suited to the Tower of London (where beheadings were once commonplace) than the other end of a camera!
I like the last picture of you immensely. I’ve enjoyed your films lists too. I loved the film “Z” that’s mentioned in your husband’s list but I’d forgotten about it. I’ll have to add that to my wish list on amazon.com in the hope that Santa’s paying attention.

Geoffrey - what a perfect way to describe a photograph. Yes, that’s exactly how I feel about photos of myself! You know, like you’re head is about to be stuck on a pike! My husband’s list is interesting. He’s not a typical male although I’d describe him as macho to the enth-degree. He likes chick flicks, probably better than I do. Z is a very unique film.
