Coming soon…get ready.

Here’s what I’ve been doing - because I have so much to get done before Thursday.

Filling out my March Madness Brackets! I love college basketball. We run a family pool every year. Don’t tell my dad, but I committed a cardinal sin. I’m from Iowa and I picked Ohio State to win it all. Hawkeye fans hate Ohio State with a grand passion.

I’ve washed the sheets and the comforter and the duvet because I don’t want stray cat hair in my eyes! Scrubbed the house from top to bottom - whew!

Got my spring flowers planted - which of course Jake immediately dug up - had to replant a couple times. Today I planted my vegetable garden because I won’t be able to do any gardening for three weeks or so.

I’m super excited because for the first time ever, I planted an entire bed of potatoes - red, yellow and blue. Yum! If it works, I think when I dig them up it will feel like Christmas morning.

I also planted mucho lettuce and spinach, carrots, green beans, white turnips, beets, shallots and onions. I’m skipping tomatoes this year because they take up so dang much room.

Schedule…pay attention because I won’t be around to remind you after Wednesday. See my wagging finger? :)

Author Lex Valentine will be monitoring my site, moderating comments. I have a guest coming on March 21 - Afton Locke. She’s promoting her new release. Please stop by and show her some love.

March 25th - Rosalie Lario has interviewed me. I should be able to respond to comments by then.

March 30th - I have another interview over at Sexy Pleasures.

April 4th - Join me at Night Owl Reviews for a chat - more information to follow.

April 18th - Marc Von Kannon will take over my site as part of his first ever blog tour. Yay!

April 21st/22nd - I’ll be blogging/interviewed at Avril Ashton’s place.

I’m invited here, just don’t have a date yet: www.kiennariley.blogspot.com

My romance-suspense, Anytime Darlin’, will be featured at Coffee Time Romance and More in the Book Brew. More information to follow.

May 17th - I’ll be at Savvy Authors talking about tapping into your creative juices.

In the meantime - drop by Up All Night Ebooks and tweet me! Pushing Her Boundaries was Monday’s featured book!

Okay, I need shower and I have to put my bed back together. Tune in tomorrow for A Game of Thrones. Oh yeah baby!

My God, you’ve gotten so much done. I’m in awe, but I hope those headaches and blind spots aren’t giving you too much problems until the surgery. Can’t believe how much you’ve gotten done! I’ll check back on your schedule to make sure I appear at those sites and blogs you’ll be visiting. Take care of yourself :-)

  2. Thanks, Delilah! Kind of a crazy day. Had to get the garden planted between rainstorms.

  3. amber skyze says:

I’m exhausted just thinking about all you’ve done. ;) Will be thinking about you Thursday and the weeks after. Take it easy.

  4. I’m so impressed! Your garden sounds so lovely. I was thinking of doing the hanging tomatoes this year.
I hope this will be a really interesting time for you and that your eyes heal perfectly and quickly.
    XXOO Kat

  5. Kat - if I decide to do tomatoes, it will be the hanging things. That’s the only way I’m willing to put up with them. We love tomatoes, but they do take up the entire garden.
Interesting time…I’m thinking I might actually get some sleep! I’m not accustomed to being dependent upon anyone - usually it’s the other way around!

  6. Wow, Julia, such a lot of work! Your garden sounds amazing - I do hope you’ll take a photo of all these spuds! I know red and white potatoes but not yellow ones. Good luck for Thursday, take care.
    Warmest wishes, Lindsay Townsend

  7. You are like the Energizer bunny. Wow that is a lot of stuff.

  8. Lindsay - if you ever find Yukon Gold, grab ‘em!

Savannah - I had a small window of opportunity - had to get it all done. Now, if I could only get as much done on my WIP!

  9. Sandy says:

Good luck with your surgery, Julia.

I love your garden. If you were close enough to me, I be over helping. What about peas? I love peas out of the garden.

  10. Stephanie says:

Hey Superwoman you’re amazing. I am exhausted from flying and didn’t even have to flap my own wings.

Blind spots! Since you are a super heroine they will be gone in an instant!
    Let me know you’re ok.

  11. Thanks Steph, but mostly I’m just nuts. And obsessive about getting stuff done. Where’d you fly from?

  12. Sandy - thanks for stopping by! I’d plant peas but we have a pea problem - in our soil, they only produce leaves, no peas. I love fresh peas too!

  13. Ciara Knight says:

Wow, I feel like an underachiever today. :( I’m happy for you. I’m jealous about the garden. :)

  14. Ciara - all I’ve managed to do today are two hikes in the rain for a total of five hours of hiking. I did make supper and get some blog posts uploaded in advance. The WIP? Nah. This is going to be a slow year for me as far as publishing goes.

  15. Nina Pierce says:

    Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row Julia. I’ll be thinking of you on Thursday. And I will definitely miss you while you’re offline! {{hugs}}

  16. Thanks Nina! I’ll miss you too!
