I’ve got every TV on, tuned to different games. I’ve loved college basketball since I was a kid. And no, husband ‘o’ mine, it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m killing it in the Family Bracket! Hee-hee!
March Madness is yummy, pure athletic deliciousness. I know a lot of people think the loss of young players to the NBA detracts from the college game… maybe it does in terms of pure stardom, but not in terms of pure heartdom.
Mark my words, one of these days the Iowa Hawkeyes will again be a powerhouse. (Hurry up, ya’ll - I’ve been waiting a long time!) In the meantime, I have to make do with the Iowa State game. Go Cyclones!
Interesting facts: I played Iowa Girls Basketball, um, that’s not me - you really should look up the weird rules. My dad’s Aries birthday is March 23rd and mine is April 13th, that’s Friday the 13th to you. I was born on a Friday the 13th. The doctor told my mother that if she was superstitious, he could change the date and time from 11:55 p.m. on Friday, April 13th, to 12:05 a.m. on April 14th. She said no. Which makes every Friday the 13th a good luck day for me.

My mom is crazy into college basketball too. She’s gone to the woman’s tournament/final four a couple of times now. I know better than to interrupt during game time! Have fun! And too funny on the b-day. We are only a few days apart in April!
