A friend of mine, JW Manus, has updated and re-released a romantic comedy - Suite Assumptions. This is one fun read, and I’m not just sayin’ that because I’ve already read it. It’s a steal at $1.99!
On her first business trip, Sandra Campbell is determined to save her beloved uncle from financial ruin. He’s old! He’s almost sixty. He deserves a happy retirement. Her plans for the perfect sales presentation are threatened when she finds herself in the Honeymoon Suite with her arch nemesis, love-‘em-and-leave-‘em Martin Stonehouse. Martin has his own agenda. He’s had it up to here with the boss’s niece. Whatever it takes, it’s time to finally deal with Sandra.
Between bad luck and crazy circumstances, and being stuck in a pink-and-green Victorian love nest with the sexiest man in Bugle Creek, Texas, Sandra’s short stay in Dallas quickly turns into the business trip from hell. Her only chance to redeem herself is to say four magic words to the one man she loves to hate.
Another friend, and one of my favorite authors, has uploaded a book trailer. Those of you who know me know I’m not a huge fan of book trailers. Author Katalina Leon’s is a gem, chock full of symbolism and mysticism. Her new story in EC’s Something Wicked This Way Comes is called Asterion. Check out this trailer, it’s gorgeous.
Last but oh so not least, A Game of Thrones returns to my screen- I don’t know about yours but it’s definitely going to be on my screen- Sunday. Oh. Yes. Here are some previews of this coming season:
What a perfect mixture today. I love romantic comedies, so I’ll definitely go grab a copy of Suite Assumptions.
I love Kat’s book trailer and yes, oh yes, Game of Thrones will be on our TV tonight!
Happy April Fool’s Day!
I just finished reading Suite Assumptions yesterday and it was the perfect Saturday activity. The story is short, sweet and sassy. And the hero has the most delicious Southern twang….I want to drag him off to my cave like a Neanderthal. And keep him there. Forever!
With no more Walking Dead to amuse me on Sunday nights. I’m going to have to start watching Game of Thrones. Haven’t seen the show or read the books. I am beginning to feel deprived.
Thank for the shout out, Julia!
I don’t get the channel GOT is on so I have to wait for the DVD to come out…Same for WD..Great books by the way..
Thank you Julia for posting my Asterion trailer!
Enjoy Game of Thrones tonight.
XXOO Kat
Ishbel doesn’t think I will be able to read this book I pointed out I read one last year too ‘The Bitch Proof Suit’. So at least oner a year can’t be bad
Tom, tell Ishbel I have every confidence that you can handle one a year. One that does not involve blood, gore, guns and knives…
Always, Kat! You know I’m a big fan of your work!
I know, Savannah - too bad! I have to send my daughter the DVD of TWD also because she doesn’t get it.
Well, Jaye - there are the “White Walkers” in A Game of Thrones and they are scary mothers! I’d say read the first three books in the series plus read Under Heaven by Guy Gavriel Kay. Kay is one of my very favorite writers.
Yes, Penny - he is one of those drag off and have your way with him kinda guys!
I know, Amber…fun day!
Julia, Suite Assumptions sounds like my kind of book. I’m on my way to Amazon to get a copy now. I love Penelope’s recommendation, “Drag him off like a Neanderthal”. LOL
It’s fun, Stephanie! Was lots of fun to tweak!
Oh sixty! So old! Enjoy the thrones. TTFN S
Hey Steph… sixty? Did I say sixty? Missed the Thrones due to illness. Will have to watch it this week.
Have you seen all the paraphernalia at B&N on Thrones? Coffee cups, playing cards, T shirts etc.
No, Sandra, we don’t have a Barnes and Noble here.
