Lemon curd - coming soon! I think I’ll make hubby harvest while I’m out of town~
My Lemon Curd Recipe:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
3 Tbs. grated lemon peel
2/3 cup lemon juice
3 large eggs
Bring first four ingredients to simmer in a large saucepan. Stir constantly. Whisk eggs in separate bowl. Gradually whisk in several spoons of the hot butter mixture. Add egg mixture to pan and stir over low heat until thick and mixture leaves a path on the back of a spoon. Do not boil. Cover with plastic wrap and chill several hours or overnight. Or pour into jars and give away to those you love.

Love lemon curd, when we visit I shall expect some for breakfast xxxxx

Those look like something they had at Whole Foods last week. But, are most likely delish. Maybe your prehistoric lemon trees are attracting wasps in some primeval way. Or Not.
I love lemon curd but the stuff in the jars is most likely no match for yours which I imagine to be deliciously perfect.

Hi Steph. Those lemons with fingers are called a Buddha’s Hand. Maybe that’s what my tree has reverted to. A very ancient genotype.

I was going to ask what lemon curd was but that other dude said he was going to look it up so… I have to say those are VERY strange lemons.
