Prolific versus Popular
I’d like to be both…well, maybe popular as far as my books are concerned. When an author writes books she wants nothing more than to have them read. Every single time someone reads one of my books, I feel a simultaneous/serendipitous thrill. I’ve had a surprising number of works published this past year and I’m not quite sure how I did it and I don’t know if I can do it again. But…I do have a number of on-going projects so we shall see. Some of my author friends put out a book a month. I have no idea how they manage.

Oh, the High Priest Imhotep, Arnold Vosloo, from the movie The Mummy (Brendan Fraser), was on NCIS last night. I just love seeing totally cool actors in cameo roles, and NCIS is must see TV for me, as is The Walking Dead. Talk about edge of seat TV viewing!
Okay, maybe tomorrow I’ll have more interesting things to talk about.

Most of mine were written through grief this year. Won’t have as many next year. Besides, like you said I’d like to know readers are lovin’ what they’re reading from me.

Jeez, one a month! What am I doing wrong? I edit and reedit…..
Maybe I labor over them too long.

I’m a slow poke by e-standards and there’s absolutely nothing to be done about it! I need to go slow…
In less than a year you’ve written and edited a tremendous amount of work in many genres and for several publishers. It’s an amazing accomplishment by any standard.

Amber, you are amazing - my hero/ine!
Sometimes I feel that way too, Gale, but we all work the way we work.
Kat - you are pokey! Just kidding! I’m pokey too. I think it’s the re-releases that got so many of my books out this year.
Ciara - I don’t know how to measure success - if it’s money, I’m a complete failure! If it’s love, I’m good.
