What I’ve learned…
Context is everything, in life and in love.
There’s nothing like a good grudge for providing you with a tremendous amount of perverse pleasure.
If I could only buy one book, OMG, it would be….what? Shogun? Deep Survival? Into Thin Air? Dune?
The ability to prepare a tasty, healthful meal is a priceless attribute.
A few lines in your face are okay - my mom is beautiful.
Monsters DO exist, as do UFOs.
Death is but a doorway, blah blah blah…oh, and everybody has to pass through it, no exceptions for us mortals.
One pantry staple you should never ever be without - Chili Colonial Chili Crunch made by Chili Colonial, LLC. Heaven in a jar.
Disneyland is still fun.
The natural world is both miraculous and indifferent, not cruel, indifferent.
I love babies and if hubby had been willing, we would have six children.
My dog, Louie, was the best friend I’ve ever had.
Nothing, not even sex, feels as amazing as galloping on a horse. My horse, Image, was my second best friend.
Don’t be afraid to contact people and ask for help - the worst thing they can say is ‘no’.
Be nice. It won’t kill you. But stand up for yourself and your loved ones. It’s okay to get mad.
If you’re afraid to do something, but you have to do it, do it anyway. That’s courage.
You take one thing with you when you go. Love. All else is extraneous.
This post is outrageously sappy. Just did not feel like promoting a damn thing today. I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with promo.

What I have learned. Nothing is forever. All things pass away…all things become new. And what I have to deal with today is sufficient trouble to face without trying to worry about tomorrow.
Blessings on your day!

Great post! I hear you about the promo treadmill-it can get totally exhausting.
I like the sappy posts…keep them coming!

Kat, you gotta get that Chili Crunch. Since we discovered it, we put it on everything…everything! Oh, actually, you should see me get mad. I can get enraged, but that’s rare. Once hubby had to hold me back in a parking lot - I was about to beat the crap out of a marriage therapist who was dissing me and hitting on him. Yeah, even great marriages need therapists - but not her!
Zee - thanks for stopping by mine! Glad you like sap!
Hey P! Oh this promo treadmill - killer! Okay, more sap coming up!

Is the chili gluten free?
And, I am wiped from Blogfest and I think readers may also be tired. More followers, fewer hits this week. Leads me to think - have I been good enuf, probing enuf, funny enuf? S

Steph, yes, gluten free. Ingredients: canola oil, garlic, onion, chili arbol, salt.
