Delilah Hunt’s new book is out - Tempting Mr. Parker. Here’s a blurb and buy link: Evernight Publishing
Thirty-nine year old CEO and architect Caden Parker is in love with Shakara James. For years he’s kept his attraction to the alluring stripper a secret, masking his guilty desire with disdain and contempt. When his hunger for the twenty-one year old becomes too hot to handle, he reveals his feelings, even though he’s afraid she’ll be disgusted and reject him.
Shakara yearns for the day when Caden, her best friend’s brother, will look beyond her poverty and the choices she was forced to make as a teenage runaway. As Cade’s feelings come to light, Shakara is stunned and overjoyed, but will there be consequences for their love? Sounds like a tearjerker to me!
I’ve just received my first round of edits for Pushing Her Boundaries - my contemporary coming with Siren in April - don’t have an exact release date yet, but these edits ought to be fun! I so love edits!
Come Back To Me received a wonderful, insightful review from Basia’s Bookshelf. The reviewer brought tears to my eyes. You can read the entire review, but here’s the gist of it: Summary: This positively sings with emotional authenticity. Cara is a haunting example of what can happen to victims of sexual violence as well as an example of how they become survivors. I knew before I started reading this that it was going to be a tough read; I didn’t expect that it was going to put me through such an emotional wringer, one that’s going to stick with me for a long time. This is an absolute recommend. My Rating: A-
I highly recommend Katalina Leon’s exquisite marriage manual - Nice Package. She’s done it again - made me lust after my husband of 25 years.
I’m reading an interesting book, not quite romance, not quite historical fiction, not quite fiction at all…I don’t know yet what to make of it. The heroine is a bit passive for my taste, but she’s also the narrator so I’m reserving judgment - The Winter Sea, by Susanna Kearsley. The premise is incredibly intriguing.
History has all but forgotten the spring of 1708, when an invasion fleet of French and Scottish soldiers nearly succeeded in landing the exiled James Stewart in Scotland to reclaim his crown. Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next bestselling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors, and starts to write. But when she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction, Carrie wonders if she might be dealing with ancestral memory…making her the only living person who can know the truth of what did happen all those years ago - a tale of love and loyalty…and ultimate betrayal.
See you tomorrow!

I highly recommend Katalina Leon’s Nice Package too! Congrats on the review and both books look tempting.
I’ve been reading the Winter Sea for a while now, slow going since I’ve only been reading it on my kindle app on my ipod at the gym in half hour increments. It’s not bad, but I agree, the heroine is somewhat passive and I’m only about half way through. I keep waiting for it “pick up” and get going!
Yes, Amber, ICAM. Nice Package is wonderful! And thanks!
Julie - I’m hoping the book grows on me because I do love the concept. See if you can find a copy of A Wish In Time - sort of the same concept - short and sweet - really quite good.
