Just another manic Monday…

I liked the Bangles back in when, the eighties?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Anyway, last week was crazy week. Crazed week. This week is shaping up to be about the same. Such is life.

Taking care of business - Please check yesterday’s post and see if you’re a winner. If you are, drop me a line so we can hook up - I most definitely want to send you your prize! Hope you enjoyed the excerpts!

Saturday, I participated in a panel discussion on romance with authors Tawny Weber, Dee Brice and Regan Taylor. We had a nice turn-out, lots of fun - went way over our time limit and I got to meet my very own fan, Fedora - who drove way out of her way to come meet me. Oh…what a treat! Really, I think I was more excited than Fedora! It is so very cool to meet someone who has read your work, and even better, likes it! Author Sharon Hamilton also showed up - she is the nicest person and incredibly supportive.

Thanks to author Ciara Knight who featured an interview with me regarding my recent release, Come Back to Me, on her site.

On February 18th, I’ll be at the One Hundred Romances Project. I’m not quite sure if it will be an interview or a book review or both. Drop by if you have the time.

Here’s a new pic of Jake. He’s eight months and getting huge! He was kind of put-out because my husband had some guys over in the living room to talk about their baseball tickets and Jake was sent into exile with me in the kitchen - too much jumping into laps.

LOL I was watching a show about the 80′s on VH1 and when I saw the Bangles I wondered the same damn thing!

I love your dog Jake, Julia. He looks so adorable just laying on the ground. Poor guy, getting kicked out of the living room.
That’s really cool you got to meet a fan and participate in the panel. I’ll definitely drop by the One Hundred Romance Project to support you!

  3. Jake is the most hilarious puppy! We call him the Playinator - he will not stop playing, ever, until your dog is dead!

I’m glad to hear the panel went well. It’s so much fun doing those kinds of things. And I hope you gave Fedora an extra big hug. She’s such a great romance reader! I bump into her all over the place!

Thank you SO much for the interview over at my blog. I received several private messages wanting me to extend my thanks to you for your bravery. You have touched many lives.
On another note, I can’t believe I won. This is the second blog this week that I’ve won something. :) Guess it’s my turn to host a contest again. :)

  6. The panel sounds exciting and I’m sure you’ll be asked to do more in the future. I wish I could have been there!
Happy Valentine’s Day, may this week go with ease.

Happy Valentine’s to you too, Julia. Poor Jake…but he’s a cutie even when he’s disgruntled. :-)
