It happened on Tuesday and boy, has this been rough on him! He’s such a happy puppy and for people to hurt him? He just doesn’t understand. Plus I got pretty pissed off that they sent him home without any pain meds and he was crying in pain. Damn! I found a bottle of my other dog’s drugs and called to ask if I could give some to Jake. Even with an analgesic, we spent a miserable night. If it wasn’t for the fact that he has to live in society, among other dogs and people, I’d have left him intact. Yikes! Hurts me just to think about it. When Louie was neutered, they just snipped ‘em off and stitched him up. Now they use this new technique so your dog looks pretty much the same, but I think it’s like pithing a frog. Those of you who took biology will know what I mean. As soon as I picked him up I was like…oh god…put it back!
