And it goes with a cute little story. One of those whiny, autobiographical Jewish experience stories.
Yes, I have a Jewish mother. She’s an awful lot like Marie Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond. Has a seemingly innocent knack for complimenting you and insulting you at the same time. You never know if you’re coming or going.
The read is only $.99 on Kindle and Nook. I’m proud of the shortie and the cover. This is the first cover I came up with myself. Searched far and wide for some art work showing a woman trying to kill herself by drowning in a bowl of chicken soup, i.e., Jewish penicillin. But short of ripping off a scene from Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, I couldn’t find anything suitable.

lol. I love the cover. That’s so funny about your mom. Too bad you couldn’t find that pic with the chicken soup. I must be a Jewish girl deep down inside because I consider it a penicillin too. My husband actually had to ask me a few days why I’m always cooking chicken soup. I’m going to give it a read this weekend!
