Before I get down to business, the fun stuff.

Sharon Buchbinder tagged me so I guess I’m it. This is a no-brainer and since I have no brain at the moment, I’m game!

Oh, and happy birthday, Sharon - it’s the one year anniversary of her release, Kiss of the Silver Wolf.

Seven things you might not know about me -

1. I have dipped my feet in magic waters - visited Gan Edan (the mythological Garden of Eden) near Tel Dan in Israel and waded through the Jordan River. Amazing place.

2. I bite my nails. Keep it on the downlow. I feel a whole lot better about this knowing that Jackie Kennedy did the same thing.

3. I store my prize possessions in an antique cigarette case inherited from my great-grandmother. These prize possessions consist of fossils and crystals I’ve found on my many adventures. Oh, and my kids’ baby teeth.

4. I have a priceless (in my mind) collection of old DC comic books - Superman, Superboy, Lois Lane, Aquaman, The Legion of Superheroes, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Supergirl, The Forever People, Batman, The Justice League, and a smattering of Marvel’s Fantastic Four.

5. I’ve gone from being a vegan to a lacto-ovo-tarian (when my kids were little) to including some fish in my diet to now eating occasional free-range chicken, a little fish, and a little of the grass fed beef from our friend’s cattle ranch in Montana. No more an ideologue. Now an omnivore who is mostly a vegetarian.

6. Much as I love sex, if you asked me which would I prefer, to have great sex or ride a great horse, I’d choose the horse, hands down.

7. I was on my high school tennis team. I hate tennis.

I’m not going to tag anyone, however, if you decide to run with this and tag yourself, let me know so I can learn your seven secrets. :)

Coming soon, reviews of books I’ve read recently and a snippet of In the Flesh!

Here’s a pic from the book signing - from left to right - Dee Brice, Mary Martinez, Regan Taylor and me.

    XXOO Kat
PS Love the picture It’s wonderful to match familiar names with faces. And you’re letting your hair grow out, it looks nice. (I loved the Pixie cut on you, so flattering)

  4. Amber, Regan is super nice and she loves animals. She also has hilarious stories to tell.

Penny - me too! But hardly anyone came by. Sigh…

Hey Kat - I definitely have multiple personalities. I cut my hair myself just yesterday. My hair cutter person is out of town and had to cancel my appointment so I grabbed some scissors and cut it. Thank you. :)

What a great group of ladies. I had the pleasure of meeting Dee at Romanticon. Great lady. I hope it was a good time despite the turn out!

Oops, I’m playing catchup and thought your 7 were on another post … LOL! Just wanted to say that I love your stories of Israel. You were very blessed to have lived there. It sounds like it really shaped who you are today.

  7. Thanks, Nina. I think I lived there at a good time. Now Israel is quite prosperous but the political climate has changed. Just like here, I guess.

  8. Yes, I agree, Nina. Dee is amazing! And she writes such smokin’ romance!

  9. Sharon Buchbinder says:
