Pride interrupts Prejudice.

I’m interrupting today’s post about my adventure romance, Pushing Her Boundaries to give you another gift.

You like? For my readers who are Jane Austen fans, I have a unique copy of Pride and Prejudice - yours for the holidays.

All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment. Since I’m more of a Bronte girl, I’d love to hear what it is you like about Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen, and Regency Romances in general.

You can enter all week. A winner will be chosen on Friday and I’ll get the book to you before Christmas. U.S. entries only.

*Oh, by the way, last night’s mid-season finale of The Walking Dead just about did me in. The best television I’ve watched since Firefly. Team Shane for damn sure. He’s right. (I am so proud of Andrea. Daryl has really become a mensch! Dale needs to get off his high horse.)

I only mention zombies because you know…Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

  1. Okay, don’t everyone jump me at once, but I have never read Pride and Prejudice. I know, I know, what kind of writer has never read this book, right? It is on the list of classics I have missed, so give me credit for admitting my literary wrong.

    Good luck to everyone! :)

  3. Penelope says:

I didn’t love P&P…..I am a much bigger fan of Jane Eyre and Rocky McRochester. But I do love historical romance in general….especially Regencies.

    Happy Monday! :^)

  4. Katalina Leon says:

Somebody is going to love this prize… (I’ve got multiple editions of P&P)
I’m with you and Penelope, I still love the Bronte’s best!
I am so hooked on AMC (Why would anyone keep a secret cache of zombies in their barn? lol)
I love “Hell On Wheels” too, its my new favorite.
    XXOO Kat

PS. Alice Cooper’s call to praise “Walking Dead” during “The Talking Dead” after show, was hilarious. Alice mentioned the zombies seemed to really dig into their victims with relish and asked what the zombie-actors on set were really eating? The producers admitted they serve Bar-B-Q soaked in red food coloring! lol

I’ll enter this on behalf of my best friend. She would SO love this! She’s and avid reader of all genres and an amazing person. Good luck to everyone.

  7. Thanks, Ciara, got your entry!

  8. Kat - OMG! The zombies are such good actors! Can’t imagine how they do it. Last night’s episode was a stunner! Hell On Wheels is pretty damn good too!

  9. You know me, Penny, I’m a big Rocky fan! But I know there are plenty of P&P lovers out there and they must want this book!

  10. Ack! Kelly! No kidding? You and Penny - she read it this year. It’s worth the read. Obviously Jane Austen has legions of fans. I prefer the Bronte sisters.

  11. I LOVE P&P, and loaned my copy to someone two years ago so it’s never coming back!
I would l love to enter.

  12. Consider yourself entered, Steph! With pleasure!

  13. Susan Laura says:

What a beautiful copy of P&P!
I liked “Emma” but otherwise I am a newbie to Austen’s novels. I did recently discover she wrote an epistolary short story early in her writing career called, “Lady Susan”. That book is on my TBR pile, just because . . . .

  14. Thanks for commenting, Susan. I enjoyed Emma.

  15. anny cook says:

I have P&P so don’t enter me. But I love almost any Regency. Love that period.

  16. Anny, I’ve read very few Regencies. Don’t quite know why not.
