Housekeeping….Yeah, I know, what a bore!

YOU'VE GOT MAIL!

Newsletter are passe. Or so I’ve decided. Seriously… How many of you actually read the newsletters I send out? I’m guessing a handful. I don’t blame you. Who has time? Besides - I don’t say anything in the newsletters you can’t learn from reading my blog posts. So I’ve done away with my newsletter and updated to an email subscription.

I love your visits - wish you could visit every day. But if you don’t have the time, feel free to sign up over there on the right for the feedburner subscription and you can get my daily posts right in your inbox.

I’m still editing- hope to have the four book science fiction romance series out by mid-April! Yes!

And Walking Dead fans… I still don’t like Rick. I’ll take Andrea as the new kick ass leader of the group any day, if she’s ever reunited with them. But then, who knows what you’d do in a zombie apocalypse. Me? I’d head to the highest, coldest place I could find. Or maybe an island. Wonder if sharks eat zombies or zombies eat sharks…

I’ve been wondering the same thing about newsletters. Then again I’ve wondered the same thing about blogging too. :) Have fun editing.

For the most part, less is a lot more! I think you’re right. For those who blog regularly, I suspect it’s more practical. Enjoy your editing!

    Zombie sharks ate my newsletter…lol
It’s so exciting about your upcoming Sci-fi series. It will be a well deserved rebirth!

  4. This is why I never put out my own newsletter…Good luck with edits….

  5. Penny says:

I agree about the newsletters…too much work.

I like the idea of Shark Vs. Zombie! Sounds like a syfy movie.

  6. Casey Wyatt says:

Do whatever you have to and make your writing life easier! As for sharks vs. zombies - sweet. And would the sharks become zombies if they ate enough of them? Then there’d be zombie sharks.

  7. Sorry I’m so awful with the replies today but I haven’t been home at all! However, I would like to see a Zombie/Shark death match and I’m cheering for the shark!

  8. Jaye says:

Whatever you do, Julia, do NOT read David Wellington’s zombie novels. The attack of the zombie pigeons will have you cowering in a closet or carrying a b-b gun with you wherever you go. Heh.

I kind of like newsletters, but I can see where they’d be a real pain. Did you see the article about the snail mail letters? I guess in some circles, it’s ‘cutting edge’ for writers to send letters to readers through the mail. Funny.

  9. Snail mail would be so fun, but nobody wants to give out their real address. Don’t blame them. Okay, no zombie pigeons for me!
