I, too, love the bull riders and the bulls. But you do know how this must have gotten started, right?
A bunch of cowboys hanging around, drinking a beer after wrestling a rank, thousand pound bull into a pen. Every one is bruised, battered and filthy because that bull had been trying to kill them all day long. Then one cowboy looks at another cowboy and says, “Hey, Rowdy, give you a quarter iffen you can sit on that ol’ bull fer eight seconds.” And Rowdy drains his beer in a gulp, swipes his mouth, and stares at the bull who’s staring back with promises of death in his eyes, and says, “A quarter? Pfft, how hard can it be?”

A few years back the hunk was in the hospital for several days. And alllll the hospital TV had on was soap operas and bull riding. So, let’s just say by the time the hunk got to go home, I knew who all the best bull riders were! Yee-Hah!!!

Yup, Jaye, that’s what happened I’m sure of it. Couldn’t have happened any other way. There’s a reason for bucking bronc riders. There is no reason for bull riders.
