A Few Deep Breaths.

As you all know, I’m working on the site. Everything has to be put on hold because I’m heading out to Boston, hanging with author Penny Watson for a few hours, meeting my son, and driving back to California with him and his dog. Will be an adventure… a stressful adventure.

Oh my god. I’ve been doing some serious traveling over the past year. To be honest, it’s starting to get to me. I miss my boys. Especially the cute one-

He has a scar on his nose. Chicks dig scars.

So I’m working on a brand new book - another story I dreamed from start to finish. I have at least six more books begun, one half-finished. Might just complete something if I have a few uninterrupted months…

Anyway, be good. The header will be fixed eventually! Love ya! Julia Barrett (two ‘T’s’).

Have fun! I’m an ex-Mass resident so say hi to Boston for me!

  2. You’ve slowed down on blogging and you still post three times more than I do. Have a good trip and drive safely.

  3. Katalina Leon says:

I hope the road trip will turn into something wonderful an not too stressful.
It’s exciting to hear you “dreamed” another book. Those dream books are great!

  4. Oh, thanks, Kat. Me too. I think it’ll be okay as soon as we pass the Quad Cities. Iowa and parts west are all good. Love the dream books!

  5. Stephanie - LOL! Barely blogging! But you always have something important to say so…

  6. I will, Ray! Love the city, hate the traffic.

  7. Penelope says:

YAY! Can’t wait to see you! Lucy will give you a big, wet kiss! xoxoxoxoxoxo

  8. We’re all so glad you caught that, Julia. If you read the back-set type behind the name, it kind of looked like you got into too much lingering sexual foreplay and forgot how to spell your name. Enjoy your travels, but get back to the boys soon!

  9. John Malik says:

Oh come on Girl! Let’s get it fixed!

  10. Tell Lucy she’ll be up late, Penny. I get in super late.

  11. Yeah, that’s my excuse Marylin! Was so caught up in the sexual foreplay… ;)

  12. Working on it, John!

  13. Amber Skyze says:

Enjoy the road trip with your son…safe travels.

A few hours with Penny Watson oh dear, poor old Boston had better batten down the hatches the Mid West Tornado and the East Coast Martini Shaker are about to collide and a few hours is going to seem like days ……..

  15. We will shake things up, Tom. Or I might just sleep… ;)

  16. Diana Stevan says:

Have a great trip, Julia! It’s all good. Travel inspires great writing.

  17. Tim Dittmer says:

I can still hear my sensei, clapping those damn blocks together.

    “Breathe.”

Either that, or go suck on an ice cube.

  18. Thanks, Diana. Let’s hope! :)

  19. Yes, Tim, I shall remember to breathe. And I’ll suck on an ice cube! Thanks, babe.

Boston is a great city to visit. Ther car drivers are a bit crazy, but other than that a wonderrfgul city yo visit.

Boston to CA./ WOW!!! And I though Ohio to CA was a long drive. Good thing I love to drive. Hope you do too.

Be safe and see you on the other side of the trip.
