A Puppy Update and a few more photos.

So far, fingers crossed, Jake seems to be doing better off medication. Now that the bleeder has stopped bleeding on its own, we have to wait and hope it doesn’t start bleeding again. Believe me, this is one skinny puppy even when he’s not sick. Food has never been high on his list of priorities. His preference is raw, ground, grass-fed beef and maybe a little roasted chicken. Everything else can sit in his dish until hell freezes over or until I throw it out. Wonder which comes first…

We have 2 fussy eaters too and one who will eat anything and everything. We’ve tried so many different kinds of food. The raw seems to work best.
I can see from the pictures why you enjoy hiking. :)

  2. I’m glad Jake is doing better. I hope things continue to improve. The pictures are just so pretty.

I’m so happy Jake is feeling better.

We are facing getting rid of our dog. We rescued him over a year ago, but he is becoming more aggressive. We are afraid he’s going to bite one of our son’s friends. Not sure we can find him a home, but he’s so lovable. We are going to have a trainer come to our home. The problem is he’s so over protective that we can’t let anyone in the door. :(

  5. Thanks for the good wishes for Jake. He seems better today.
Ciara - sorry about your dog. That’s very tough.
