This week hasn’t been bad so far, but it has been busy. Lots of house guests and stuff. Maybe I should take the advice of my favorite spammer and buy some dragon power for my donger! Everyone could use a little dragon power, don’t you think?
Deadlines are freaking me out this year. I have so very many family obligations - it’s been like this for over six months already with no end in sight. I mean, some of this stuff is lovely - weddings, anniversaries, big birthdays…and I have my three kids to think about and spend time with - for which I am very grateful.
Who has time to write? Not me.
Here’s my typical day - up at 5 a.m. with the cat, cuz ya know, he’s got to be escorted to the front door even tho he has a cat door. Up at 6 a.m. with the dog. Chores. Out the door by 7:15 for an hour and twenty minute hike. More chores. Answer emails, clean out in-boxes, follow friends and fellow authors/bloggers. More chores. Shower. Leave the house by 1 for another hike - this time two hours. Shop, go to appointments - you know, hair, nails, occasional coffee date - prepare supper, play basketball with the dog. Answer important emails.
Spend time with adorable hubby and maybe eat something. Take computer upstairs to work on WIP while watching ballgame if I’m not at said ballgame. Gaaaaaaa!
Don’t tell me to prioritize. Everything needs to be done…at once.
Here’s the general plan, and this is just day by day:
Paranormal has reached its climax. Had a glitch in the formatting which my son had to fix. The glitch forced me to rewrite portions of the manuscript. Should be completed in another two weeks.
I’ve submitted a proposal for a work of fantasy to a publisher…waiting to hear. If it’s accepted, I’ll have to drop everything to have it ready by September. OMG I am effin’ nuts!
Formulating an SFR series with another author. Cannot wait to work on this one. Yummolicious!
Backburnered: Rescued (the sequel to Captured) and One For Me (the sequel to One Four All). I’m getting to them. Wish I could write 24/7 but ce la vie.
Okay, enough with the bitchin’. Everything will happen when it happens and I need to breathe. Just breathe…

It’s tough when all different stories are begging to be written. Just breathe!
I did see a few obnoxious things on that list that must be sacrificed-CHORES! lol
A short while ago a friend was standing in my entryway and a huge cobweb blew down from a lighting fixture and clung to the back of his head. He didn’t notice it but I was so embarrassed and tried to brush it off as he left!
I peered back into my memory trying to remember the last time I really cleaned the entire house…
Writing will do that!

Amber - trying!
Kat - I would ignore some things, but I have a bunch of company coming! Ack! No cobwebs allowed!
No cobwebs for your guest’s heads? What sort of hostess are you?! lol I’ll mail you some of mine right away! lol

Enjoy your hikes! No pressure….
I wish you luck with everything you have going on…It feels like there is not enough time in the day to get everything done….
Hang in there, girlfriend. Did I know you had a cat?
No Penelope - there’s pressure! Yesterday I had to hike with the dog and then with my company. I was so tired last night! I think I did 12 miles!
Savannah - no, when you factor in showers, not enough time.
Hey Sandra! Yeah, I have two cats. One gets along with the dog and the other has decided he will live in a suitcase in the garage. It’s kinda funny, but then the older cat has lived with two other dogs and the young cat has only known one dog.
