Buried in Work and Catching Up On Orphan Black.

I gotta work, peeps. Will post when I can. In the meantime, do whatever you have to do in order to watch Season One of Orphan Black. Might just be the best television series you have ever watched.

And here I thought nothing could be better than Season One of The Walking Dead or maybe the first few episodes of Vikings or Game of Thrones. Orphan Black beats ‘em all. It ain’t even a contest.

Wow…now I’m gonna have to check it out. You’ve piqued my interest. ;)

  2. William Ockham says:

I totally agree about Orphan Black. Very intense and tightly written. I watched most of the episodes twice and was impressed with how well they progressively revealed the secret without cheating. We don’t know the motivations or amount of “inside knowledge” of almost any of the characters when we meet them, but in Orphan Black all the characters’ actions still make sense on a second viewing. Given the sheer amount of “nothing and nobody is what they seem”, that is very impressive.

Will get my fill of Castle this weekend. As long as I/we/you/me have something to read and/or watch. Seize the day and enjoy!

  4. I never got into Castle, Roberta, but I love Nathan Fillion from Firefly.

  5. Nailed it, William. My son turned me onto the show during our 6-day cross-country road trip. I watched most of the episodes on his computer then came home and began re-watching. My husband caught part of one episode and said- I have to watch this — so I started all over again! Basically my third time through. It’s the one show that the viewer doesn’t merely enjoy, it encourages the viewer to speculate. Amazing really. Read a semi-spoiler from Comic-Con. I knew there was more to Mrs. S than meets the eye!

  6. Oh Amber… watch it!!!

  7. Sandra Cox says:

Hey Ms. Julia, Not familiar with Orphan Black. Enjoy it..

Roberta, I too a Castle fan:)

  8. It’s great Sandra. Watch it if you get the chance.

  9. Tom Stronach says:

This isn’t on here in the UK yet so will try and catch it when it is but have to say our telly hasn’t been on in about three weeks and not really missing it I did check the Tivo box last night and saw a bunch of soaps that even Ishbel hasn’t been watching either and something called the Americans that she set to tape but hasn’t watched there’s about 8 of them !

    Lurvs ya, my sweet xxx

  10. Oh, the Americans. It’s kind of like Homeland which is based on the Israeli show… Prisoners of War, which is outstanding. Better than Homeland except you have to read subtitles. I can follow some of the Hebrew but not enough.
