These things delight.

A robin’s egg. Life is both tenuous and tenacious.

Found beneath my Japanese Maple.

Violets. Hidden. Humble.

Many such patches in my backyard.

Tiny Treasures.

Can you find the dinosaur bone in this collection? Hint- click on the photo to enlarge.

A crystal I found above the Arctic Circle when I was ten years old.

Memories.

My Baubi’s old cigarette box.

Which contains baby teeth, puppy teeth, corn kernels given to me by a Hopi Medicine Man, a half-finished arrowhead I found in the Loess Hills behind our house in Iowa, my piece of amber containing a prehistoric bug (also from above the Arctic Circle), some meaningful seashells, and my fossils.

This is the one thing I’ll grab in an emergency. Along with my comic book collection. Silver Age.

A very nice set of pictures. I like this idea too - pictures of things that matter to us. Maybe I will do same on my blog some day.

Thanks for the look into your treasures :) and for the great idea too.

  4. You’re welcome, Roberta.
